Hi! I’m a developer, I'm in charge of the main service development, and as an early team member, I'm also involved in various other parts.

Nowadays, coding is accessible to non-majors. However, when I started in 2013, it was only known by computer engineering majors. I learned Java and C to start, and gained experience and improved my skills by participating in makerthon and hackathon competitions as an embedded developer.

Hackathons and makerathons are early stages of a startup, bringing together teams of developers, planners, and designers to build a prototype around a specific topic in just a few nights. After participating in these competitions, I realized my desire to create a startup and am now in the process of starting my own.

I'm studying mechanical engineering at Stony Brook University. When I got accepted, my friends asked me about my interest in coding.

"Why did you choose mechanical engineering instead of computer science?”

I chose mechanical engineering because I love working with machines and physics. Unlike some students who choose computer science for its employability, my interest is genuine. I saw my peers' enthusiasm and enjoyment during our team projects, which confirmed that I made the right choice.

I am more confident using Google to search for information than coding. Though I lack knowledge of basic syntax in C or Python, I can still create in-depth deep learning models and complete projects successfully, enough to write papers. While Python has numerous functions, it is unnecessary to know all of them. Quick searches for information are easier and more helpful when solving problems. The Internet provides a vast amount of information, with English-language sources generally being better in terms of quantity and quality. For instance, by simply searching "Python array upside down," one can easily find the necessary information. Hence, Googling can be of great assistance, even when one is stuck.

English is vital for developers due to the ever-evolving nature of technology, programming languages, grammar, and trends. Staying up-to-date with new developments is necessary. I can build a toy project in an unfamiliar language on the same day because I am efficient at searching for information.

Apologies for the long post. Writing is not the best way to convey my personality, but I hope this helps those who will be joining us. Looking forward to working with you!
